We want you to feel comfortable during your time with us. Here is some information regarding your first session. If you have any specific queries or concerns please call us.
What to Expect at the First Appointment
Your first appointment will last between 45 mins to an hour.
The therapist will begin by discussing your symptoms and medical history before performing a physical assessment. Treatment will also begin during this session. Your treatment plan and any exercise advice will be given at the end of the session.
What to Bring / What to Wear
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement. If your issue is related to a specific area, such as the knee or shoulder, please wear something that allows access to that area. In certain cases, the therapist will ask you to remove some of your outer clothing in order to examine and assess your spine if needed.
Relevant medical documents and a list of current medications and previous treatments are helpful.
Fees and Insurance
We are registered with certain health insurers including AXA, PPP and many others. Please check with your provider and with us before commencing treatment.
Self-pay appointments are also available from £65.
Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask that you pay for your treatment in advance and that you give us 24 hours notice of any cancellation. We reserve the right to take the full payment if sufficient notice is not provided.
Parking
There are some pay parking bays in the roads around the clinic. There is also free parking available for 2 hours in the Morrison’s car park which is a 5 minute walk to the clinic.
