Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a hands on, drug free treatment for joint and muscle pain or injury.
Osteopaths can help improve joint mobility, relieve muscle tension and reduce pain levels by improving circulation and nerve supply to tissues. This helps the body heal itself. They use a variety of techniques including joint mobilisation and manipulation, stretching and massage.
Osteopathy can provide effective treatment for:
- Back and Neck Pain
- Sciatica and Trapped Nerves
- Joint and Muscle Pain
- Arthritic Pain and Stiffness
- Repetitive Strain Injuries
- Sports Injuries
- Headaches
- Frozen Shoulder
- Pregnancy-related Pain
We work with our patients to support their body’s ability to heal itself. Your treatment plan will be individual to you and may include self-help strategies for pain relief and advice on posture and exercise.
Osteopathy can help with:
- Reduced Pain Levels
- Better Mobility
- A Faster Return to Your Everyday Life and Activities
- A Personal Toolkit to Help You Manage Your Symptoms While You Recover and Stay Healthy in the Future
During the session, the osteopath will take a thorough case history, perform a musculoskeletal examination and then decide on personalised treatment plan which will involve exercise advice. Please wear comfortable clothing and expect to undress the area involved.
Osteopathy is practised by Jack McNicholl and Bronwyn Gough. Our osteopaths are fully insured and registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
